What we collect
- Email & name. When you subscribe to the newsletter or download a resource.
- Usage & device data. Pages viewed, referrer, approximate country, and interactions, only where you have consented to analytics.
- Consent records. A log of the choices you make in our cookie banner (a legal requirement).
How we use it & our lawful basis
- To send the newsletter and resources you asked for. Consent (which you can withdraw at any time).
- To understand and improve the site. Consent (analytics), or legitimate interests for essential, aggregate measurement.
- To keep the site secure and working. Legitimate interests.
You control each purpose independently through our cookie & consent settings (the six lanes C1–C6). We never sell your personal data. Affiliate links are disclosed on the pages that use them.
Sharing
We use trusted processors to run the service. Email delivery, analytics, hosting and payments, each under a data-processing agreement. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
Storage & retention
Your data is held in the EU (Supabase, EU region). We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase it, and event data only as long as needed for the purpose, then aggregate or delete it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, and request portability. Email ben@fixrsystems.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
